EVERSPAWN

You are a single cell on a small world. So is everything else.

Only Sharp smooths edges — and it costs most. Changing to or from it takes effect the next time the game is opened. When the game struggles, it draws a little softer than this for a while.

The music is covers of the classics and a theme of our own, all made by code; the world's sounds are made as you play. M turns it all off mid-game too.

Everspawn — designed by its author; built with Claude.

Music. Every note is played by code, on instruments modelled in code. The theme, First Cell, and Tide, Night Swim and Emergence are Everspawn's own. The rest are arrangements of public-domain works by Saint-Saëns, Debussy, Grieg, Beethoven, Satie, Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, Ravel, Bach and Mozart.

The notes were read from editions by the Mutopia Project (mutopiaproject.org) — Satie's Gnossiennes (CC BY-SA 4.0), Vivaldi's Winter (CC BY-SA 3.0) and Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (CC BY-SA 2.5), Debussy's second Arabesque (CC BY-SA 4.0) and Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 (CC BY-SA 3.0) among them — and from sequences by George Pollen (classicalmidi.co.uk): Danse Macabre, the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Boléro.
